We are looking for an experienced, caring and engaged Executive Housekeeper- This full-time position is responsible for the overall housekeeping duties for the residence. It involves both direct housekeeping duties and leading others in their housekeeping duties.
We will be providing cleaning for 97-suites and general areas specially designed for older adults.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated knowledge of:
- Safety standards and departmental policies management.
- How to effectively schedule and assign duties to a team of cleaning staff.
- Housekeeping budgets.
- Cleaning protocols.
- Team leadership. What inspires a team to produce desirable results!
You will have the ability to:
- Ensure all areas of the building are clean, attractive, and comfortable- attention to detail is required daily.
- Recruit and train/coach new staff
- Order, maintain and keep organized housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Prepare Suite Cleaning Task List and ensure weekly, daily and special projects and revenue potential housekeeping duties in suites are completed to the expected standard.
- Create and maintain a friendly and welcoming environment to build relationships with our clients and team.
- Ability to delegate tasks and set standards.
- Attend meetings with residents.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with a salary range on offer of $45,000- $50,000 per annum. Benefits include three weeks paid vacation per year, 13 paid days general holidays (statutory and civic) per year. You will also have the option to participate in health insurance and pension matching plan.
