Aufgaben
As a member of the QA Team, your challenge is to accelerate the
delivery and improve the quality of Altova products used by thousands
of customers worldwide. Cooperating with the development and support
departments as well as focusing on test planning, execution and
automation is part of your responsibilities.
You will:
- prepare test plans and test cases
- use/maintain/improve our Java framework for automating test cases
- run the developed test suites and check the results,
- report bugs via defect tracking system,
- verify defects fixed by the development department
- Working experience (2 years ++) in Java programming
- JavaScript / TypeScript programming knowledge
- Working experience in SW testing (ideally of MS Windows Software)
- Basic knowledge of using shell scripts
- Basic knowledge of Linux OS
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Good English language skills (written and spoken)
- Experience with GUI automatic testing
- Experience with Appium
- Node.js knowledge
- Experience with WebdriverIO
- Experience with Appium drivers: Espresso for Android and XCUITest for iOS
- Experience with Eclipse and MS Visual Studio
- Basic Knowledge of C++
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (ideally MS SQL Server or Oracle or IBM DB2)
- Basic knowledge of Mac OS
