Project Title:
1. Strengthening research administrative support for the Department of Psychology of the
EdUHK
2. Facilitating knowledge transfer and increasing research impact of the Department of
Psychology of the EdUHK
[Appointment Period: 12 months]
In support of the Government's Job Creation Scheme 3.0 under the Anti-epidemic Fund 3.0, The
Education University of Hong Kong has created positions covering a wide range of job functions and
levels. This is in response to the difficult labour market situation in the wake of the pandemic, with an
aim of providing employment opportunities for those with different skill sets, qualifications and years
of experience. Applications are invited for the captioned position.
The appointee(s) will be responsible for supporting and promoting research and knowledge transfer
projects, events, and activities in the Department. He/She will assist the Department to showcase our
research expertise and findings and promote research and knowledge transfer projects and activities
through the website, social media, video, and press conferences. The appointee will coordinate and
organize activities such as seminars and workshops, support proposal and report writing, and perform
any other duties as assigned. The appointment will be for a period of around 12 months.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Psychology or a related discipline, good
command of both written and oral English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and effective
communication skills. Applicants should be self-motivated, attentive to details, and able to work
independently. Preference will be given to candidates with some relevant experience and knowledge
in web editing and video making.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave and
outpatient medical benefits.
