For Philips Digital & Computational Pathology you lead the development and release of Manufacturing processes, tools and equipment for PDLM projects, both outsourced at suppliers and in-house. You also lead Manufacturing process development activities in Advanced Development projects.
You are responsible for
Initiates and oversees process technology development activities in the context of New Product Generation as well as product and solution technology roadmap.
Ensures adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release.
Responsible for Manufacturing input in PDLM process focusing on DfMAT.
Initiates and executes Capex optimization for initial investments.
Is accountable for process and Manufacturing Requirements based on Product Specifications and Test Requirements from Development Engineering.
Is accountable for the process and equipment capability that meets these Requirements.
Orchestrates design for lean manufacturing with inputs to PDLM workflows.
Responsible for PDLM-driven design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers and their implementation
Is accountable for Manufacturing BOM and routing Master data until release to shipment and for PDLM ruled changes.
Is accountable for establishing Inspection and Test Criteria for Philips owned components and assemblies.
Applies lean manufacturing principles.
Onsite Support at local 3rd Party contract manufacturers (typically 2 days per week).
You are a part of
The Enterprise Informatics organization, supporting Clinical Informatics. A hardware and software-based portfolio of products designed to support clinicians in workflow and decision making.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Engineering or equivalent degree in manufacturing engineering or related field
3-5 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Product Industrialization Engineer
Strong Problem solving lead, applying appropriate techniques and being able to execute/instigate scientific analysis
Accountable for high complexity Industrialization projects
English and Dutch language preferred
