About Us:
Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Communities and Justice Sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community.
Community Corrections is one arm of CSNSW that supervises offenders who are subject to community-based orders imposed by the courts or State Parole Authority. Community Corrections aims to reduce the impact of crime on the community by effectively case managing offenders to achieve resettlement and successful order completion.
About You:
To be successful for this role, you will always display integrity, and be a true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will always maintain confidentiality whilst utilising your proven experience to meet the demands of this role effectively. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role.
About the role:
The role performs administrative and reception services to internal and external clients to support the delivery of quality services. Administration duties include non-complex client matters, word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and file records and support with meetings and events.
We work closely with our diverse offender population, including those from Aboriginal and CALD backgrounds, their families and communities, and value a diverse workplace to create the greatest opportunities of success.
