We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our finance team at our fast-growing company in Berlin. The successful candidate will assist our head of finance in various financial and administrative tasks while gaining practical experience and knowledge in finance and healthtech.

Your role

• Assist in day-to-day financial operations including, but not limited to, bookkeeping, accountancy, and expense management
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards
• Support in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and forecasts
• Assist in budget planning and tracking
• Collaborate with the head of finance in preparing financial statements and other financial analysis
• Conduct market research and analysis to support business decision-making
• Review actuals vs budget for various departments and projects, identifying variances and providing explanations for any significant deviations
• Partner with several departments (e.g. People Ops, Business Development, International Growth, Engineering & Machine Learning)
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in finance, management, accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English, German language skills are a plus
