We are now recruiting a Senior Quality Technician to join our Quality Team in our Ballytivnan site in Sligo. As a Senior Quality Technician, you will work as a member of the Quality Team to ensure that quality goals and objectives are achieved, ensuring that all actions comply with current good manufacturing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the absence of and to the Quality Operations Lead, must be competent in making decisions on product quality
  • Subject Matter Expert for Area Process
  • Go to person for Quality Lead – Q&A on throughput
  • Trend/MGT data from Testing (T&T)
  • Supporting Quality Operations Lead with Event/Investigations Management
  • Lead Cross Training Coordination with QC Techs
  • Complete in-process and final release product testing per the relevant approved specifications and procedures.
  • Complete incoming product testing per the relevant approved specifications and procedures.
  • Ensure Management is kept informed of all Quality Events or potential Quality Events Related to the product or process
  • Ensure all Quality System documentation is thorough, complete, and compliant
  • Participation in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in the quality, safety, environmental and production systems at the site.

Education and Experience

  • A third level qualification in a scientific discipline is preferred or relevant experience
  • 3+ Years in a GMP regulated environment working within the Laboratory discipline.
  • 3+ years experience in the day-to-day operation of the quality system in a highly regulated combination product/device manufacturing environment is desirable
