Customer Services Clerk [South Africa]


 

Duties:


  • Liaise with the company-approved courier services to ensure that the waybill or trip sheet reflects the contents of the delivery accurately

  • Liaise with the company-approved security services to verify that the goods received correspond with the waybill or trip sheet

  • Receive and deal with customer queries as to whether goods were received by customers and investigate problems

  • Provide feedback to the customers on the status of their query or complaint

  • Liaise with service providers i.e. delivery trucks as to the delivery time and reason for delays or non-delivery

  • Establish and distribute proof of delivery to the various branches as per request

  • Liaise with Customer Management, buyers, order clerks, credit department, stock controller on issues relating to customer service

  • Log queries received on (CRM) as soon as they occur.

  • Collect suitcases which travel to branches overnight. Distribute the contents to applicable parties on a daily basis

  • Comply with OHS ACT
