Reporting to the Accounting Manager, Asia Pacific, the Accountant will work under the supervision of China Accounting Manager on daily finance operational issues and support the delivery of China financial statements and process, especially on accounts payables, expenses processing, month-end /year-end closing coordination and China finance projects (SAP/Concur) if any.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Various vendor payments process:
Follow China weekly vendor payment procedures
Distinguish different kinds of expenses and decide GL type before posting to SAP by using professional judgement
Expense cross check and coordination with payment requestors if needed
Staff reimbursement process
Review and combine monthly staff reimbursement claim sheets on accuracy
Post staff reimbursement in SAP through FB60
Sample check and verification on invoices submitted by staff
New staff onboard training on China expense policy
Local VAT invoices verification and e-fapiao management
Weekly VAT invoices issuance
Distribution of e-fapiao to distributors/clients
E-fapiao filing and saving
Monthly VAT invoices verification
Run monthly VAT invoices report from golden tax system
Liaison with tax officer on e-fapiao related issues
Assist on China SAP and Concur project
Engage in meetings with head office IT
Collaborate with HQ project team on various supports needed from local
Others
- Work as a backup for Singapore accounting team when necessary
Support on annual audit for both China and HQ by providing necessary supporting documents
Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by finance manager
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance or related field
3-5 of past accounting experience, understanding and application of China GAAP
Experience with SAP / Concur equivalent will be a good plus.
Effective communication in both English (written and oral) and Chinese
Good personality and detail oriented
Problem solving skills and strong sense of responsibility.
