About the Role
Base Location: Ballyconnell Stores, Republic of Ireland
Salary: €29,300 - €33,500 depending on skills and experience + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time
As Store Person, you’ll assist in maintaining storage and inventory control across ensuring critical stock is replenished, stored correctly, and delivered to site on time. The position is a key-enabler to maximising the availability of the SSE Renewables onshore fleet, responding to faulted turbines with the efficient delivery of spare parts to get them back online.
The role is also responsible for participating in the house keeping and maintenance of the site Stores facility, routine maintenance of site equipment & assisting with site compliance to SHE and UK Government regulations.
Some of your other main accountabilities will include;
- Ensuring safety site compliance to MOT, LOLER, PUWER and COSHH regulations.
- Assisting in raising purchase requests for replenishment of stock items and receiving and receipting of goods for the maintenance of mind turbines and balance of plant.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards, stock records and the efficient operation of stock management system.
- Collating orders for dispatch to site and gathering information for Key Performance Indicator reports as required.
- Encouraging strong relationships and open communication with all suppliers and hauliers.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have;
- A solid understanding of the Renewables and Power Generation Market.
- Knowledge of Safety legislation and the application of safe systems of work.
- A demonstrable understanding of MOT, LOLER, PUWER & COSHH, rules.
Due to the nature of this role, flexibility is paramount, and you must be prepared to work as and where required. There may be occasional overnight stays away from home as well.
