We’re looking for a Fresh Foods Assistant - Seafood to join our Countdown Invercargill team

You’ll be tuned in to what our customers want at our seafood counters and make sure they’re receiving an experience that will really wow them. From helpful advice, to chatting about their day – by being yourself and offering a personalised service wherever possible, you’ll ensure every customer walks away happy and looking forward to their next visit.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
Keeping our seafood cabinets well stocked with our fresh fish and shellfish
Be able to provide product knowledge to customers
Learning about and adhering to food safety policies
You will be working in a hands-on chilled environment and have a passion for delicious seafood. We are looking for a team member who
Has a willingness to handle all types of raw fish and shellfish
Has a strong attention to detail and skills when it comes to food safety checks
Can work on your feet for the duration of your shift
Can have a great eye for presentation and love interacting with our customers
This is a casual position and we ask for flexibility across a 7 day roster, you may be called at short notice to cover shifts for the team roster.
