About the role
The Asset Records Technician works in the Asset Records Team and provides drawing management and small draughting services to Powerco. They ensure that electronic drawings meet Powerco’s drawing standards, are managed throughout their lifecycle and are readily available to staff and external contractors. They answer requests for asset drawings which includes locating and providing electronic copies of managed and controlled drawings, fulfilling large format printing requests and updating the physical controlled folders. All drawings are administered from the Powerco Engineering Drawing management system (EDMS).
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role you will need a keen eye for detail and be structured in how you work, bringing those same disciplines to the management of drawing records. You enjoy customer service and are fluent with office software for word processing, spreadsheet and data bases. You are a skilled AutoCAD user and will have a Diploma in Engineering, NZ Certificate in Draughting or relevant Draughting qualification. Knowledge of the Electricity and Gas industry is an advantage.
