We are looking for Maintenance Technician to join our Mercury Plant in Dudelange.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Be part of an innovative, highly automated tire production plant in collaboration with a diverse, international team
- Work with the latest technology in a digitalized environment
- Develop your skills on preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, including mechanical, electrical maintenance and maintenance of industrial automation systems (PLCs)
- Seek and implement new ideas to drive safety, quality, and reliability and productivity
Your responsibilities:
- Drive to zero equipment breakdown by setting a high-quality standard of preventative maintenance
- Develop and improve preventive maintenance tasks lists according to equipment requirements and machine availability
- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance tasks
- Lead and work together as a team with required outside companies
- Support development of training materials related to machine reliability and operations. Train others on machine/equipment setup and operations.
- Manage identification and implementation of improvements for increased productivity
- Management and implementation of corrective maintenance (red tags)
To join our team you will need the following qualifications:
- Bachelor (Bac+2/3) in mechanic / mechatronics / automation / electrical engineering, technical degree OR significant experience
- 3+ years of working experience in manufacturing environment is a considerable asset
The languages we are looking for:
Good knowledge of English is required, French language is considered as an asset
We are looking for the following skills:
- Good problem-solving skills and self-initiative
- Knowledge of PLCs
- Ability to troubleshoot / improve mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - combined with the capability to lead and coach co-workers
- Sense of urgency and commitment to resolve issues.
- Position requires working on shifts
