We are currently seeking an Environmental Projects Intern to support us in defining and documenting environmental targets in line with our Environmental Policy, and to develop short- and long-term projects to improve our environmental performance. The successful candidate will also assist in setting up a monthly/quarterly report to communicate our environmental performance and the status of our targets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing our current procedures and systems to determine areas for improvement.
- Work with regional offices and departments within the organization to gather input and ideas on how to improve our environmental performance.
- Assist in determining priorities, costs, feasibility, and duration of improvement projects.
- Support in setting up a monthly/quarterly report to communicate our environmental performance and the status of our targets.
- Assist in defining and documenting short- and long-term projects to improve our environmental performance.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
- Passionate about environmental sustainability and willingness to learn and contribute to the field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Information
This is a minimum 3-month internship based at our SL head office. The Environmental Projects Intern will report to the Group SHEQ Manager and will be expected to present a final report to management upon completion of the project.
