Cook [Indonesia]


 

A luxury resort in Nusa Tenggara Barat is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cook (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Prepare high-quality meals and food items according to the company's recipes
  • Store excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage
  • Ensure that food portions and food presentation meet the company's standards
  • Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed
  • Ensure that cooking utensils are clean before each use
  • Clean and sterilize food preparation areas
  • Assist other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Resolve problems with customers’ orders efficiently
  • Ensure that food health and safety regulations are followed
  • Supervise cook helpers in their duties

Requirements:

  • Indonesian citizen
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Proven work experience as a Cook or in a similar role
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipments and procedures
  • Certification in safe food handling would be a plus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong character and motivational
  • High school diploma or degree in a related field
  • Solid knowledge of cooking methods and techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and work in a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Effective communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rp3,500,000 - Rp5,000,000 per month
